Job Summary
Mubarak Medical Center in Abu Dhabi is looking for a qualified and experienced Family Medicine Doctor / Family Medicine Specialist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in providing complete medical care for patients of all ages, including children, adults, and elderly patients.
The doctor will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of medical conditions, providing preventive care, conducting regular health checkups, and guiding patients with proper treatment plans. The candidate should have excellent patient communication skills and a strong commitment to quality healthcare.
Key Responsibilities
Examine, diagnose, and treat patients with common medical conditions, acute illnesses, chronic diseases, infections, fever, cough, flu, allergies, stomach problems, hypertension, diabetes, asthma, and other general health concerns.
Provide complete family healthcare services for patients of different age groups.
Conduct routine checkups, physical examinations, medical assessments, and health screenings.
Prescribe medicines, laboratory tests, imaging tests, and other required investigations.
Review laboratory reports, X-rays, ultrasound reports, and other diagnostic results to provide accurate medical advice.
Manage chronic diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, cholesterol, asthma, thyroid disorders, and lifestyle-related conditions.
Provide preventive healthcare advice, vaccination guidance, diet advice, lifestyle counseling, and patient education.
Refer patients to specialists when required and coordinate with other departments for better patient care.
Maintain accurate and complete patient medical records.
Provide follow-up care and monitor patient progress.
Ensure patient confidentiality, safety, and professional medical ethics at all times.
Follow UAE healthcare authority rules, regulations, and clinical guidelines.
Requirements
Medical degree from a recognized university.
Specialization or qualification in Family Medicine is preferred.
Valid DOH / HAAD license or eligibility is preferred.
Previous experience as a Family Medicine Doctor, General Practitioner, or Family Medicine Specialist is required.
Strong knowledge of general medical diagnosis, treatment, and preventive healthcare.
Ability to manage both acute and chronic medical cases.
Good communication skills and the ability to explain medical conditions clearly to patients.
Ability to work professionally in a busy medical center environment.
Strong patient management, teamwork, and decision-making skills.
Fluency in English is required. Arabic or other languages will be an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in the UAE or GCC healthcare sector.
DOH licensed candidates will be given preference.
Experience in outpatient clinic consultations.
Experience in managing family healthcare, chronic disease care, and preventive medicine.
